Kieran Tierney and Cristian Gamboa have silenced Erik Sviatchenko over his wonder goal in training.
Yesterday the Danish defender was quick to share his spectacular training ground goal on Instagram but two team-mates were less than impressed.
On Sviatchenko’s Instagram account Gamboa asked: “ Amigo, what was the final score?’
Tierney piped in with: “Hahah @crisgam89 (Gamboa)scored 5 better than that! Final score?”
The bhoys are currently benefitting from a return to training after the hectic schedule of December and five ganes in 15 days following the winter break.
Brendan Rodgers training sessions are all about pushing and developing players rather than a couple of games of five-a-sides with goalkeepers as centre forwards.
The one game a week schedule continues on Saturday when Motherwell visit Celtic Park for the third time this season.
With a 5-0 and a 2-0 win already over Mark McGhee’s side Celtic will be strong favourites although the most recent meeting of the sides was much closer.
Motherwell came closer than anyone to beating Celtic before finally going down 4-3 at Fir Park in December.
Tonight McGhee’s men are in action away to Aberdeen in a re-arranged match after the original fixture was abandoned due to a floodlight failure.
