Cleared off the line?

Celtic’s 2-1 win over Dundee was largely free of the controversy that marred last week’s 1-1 draw with Sevco.

There were a number of industrial challenges put in by the home side with a neck lock by Darren O’Dea on Scott Sinclair the biggest talking point.

Shortly before they took the lead there was one incident that required another look but the Sky Sports cameras were unable to provide Hawk-eye coverage when a header from Dedryck Boyata was cleared- or was it.

The defender timed his run perfectly to meet a corner, his contact was solid beyond the keeper but a defender managed to head ‘clear’.

It was hard to tell from television coverage at the match, in which case it’s right that the referee doesn’t award a goal.

One picture has emerged however that showed just how close the decision was, without Hawk-eye we’ll never know just ow close a call it was.
