A rare interview has emerged of Jock Stein being interviewed the day after Celtic’s European Cup win over Inter Milan.
It seems like a news presenter from BBC Scotland has been brought in to get the thoughts of the legendary Celtic manager.
Despite the magnitude of Celtic’s achievement Stein is very calm and composed, shrugging aside the adulation that his team had attracted.
Outside of Scotland there was little expectation on the Scottish champions, after 90 incredible minutes under the Portuguese sunshine the Celts were the most celebrated team on the planet.

Inter had no answer to Celtic’s relentless attacking football with the equalising goal created by Jim Craig for Tommy Gemmell summing up Stein’s philosophy.
In recent years the statistics have emerged showing the dominance that Celtic enjoyed in the match, during the interview Stein touches on how he was prepared, and confident, if the match had gone to a replay two days later.
