Bobby Madden has been selected to referee Saturday’s match between Morton and Hibs at Cappielow.
After the storm between the two sides when they met at Easter Road last week all eyes will be on Jim Duffy and Neil Lennon as their teams meet again.
Madden hasn’t been given a Premiership fixture since his controversial handling of the Glasgow derby but the Cappielow match looks more demanding than most of Saturday’s top flight fixtures.
If he referees the Morton-Hibs match in the same manner as he took charge of the derby match it should certainly make for a lively encounter with no fourth official to keep the peace on the touchline.
Craig Thomson will be in charge of Celtic’s home match with Kilmarnock on Saturday with Kevin Clancy the man in the middle for Sunday’s Aberdeen v Sevco clash at Pittodrie.
Wednesday’s Celtic match against Partick Thistle will be refereed by Greg Aitken.
