Brother Pedro’s Ibrox honeymoon ended today when Sevco were held to a 1-1 draw by Motherwell.

In just his second match in charge the fifth best coach in Qatar, armed with the best squad in Scotland, was held to a draw by a team coached by the guy that got the bump from Oldham in January.

The draw leaves Sevco 10 points behind Aberdeen and 27 goals worse off than Derek McInnes’ side in the race for second place. Next Sunday Brother Pedro will take his power-point presentation style of management to Pittodrie after the midweek visit to Kilmarnock.

Jose Mourinho’s best mate watched his side go behind to a third minute header to Louis Moult, at half time captain Lee Wallace got the hook along with Clint Hill and Lee Hodson.

Joe Garner grabbed an equaliser in the 61st minute but Wesley Foderingham was the busier keeper as the home side held out for a point.

In four matches against Motherwell earlier in the season Mark Warburton enjoyed four wins against the Steelmen, after today’s result Partick Thistle are the only club that has still to take a point from Sevco.
