David Tanner has issued an apology to Mark Warburton.
The Sky Sports Scottish anchorman recently let loose with some strong criticism of Warbo as he gushed praise in the direction of Brother Pedro.
After 18 months of hanging on every word that the former city trader had to say Tanner didn’t hold back with his attack on Warbo through his Instagram account.
That post was quickly deleted but not before it had been widely shared with Warbo left in no doubt about the thoughts and feelings of the former STV presenter.
Sunday’s 3-0 win for Sevco at Aberdeen seems to have calmed Tanner down as he enthused about the great fun he had with Neilly (McCann) and Boydy (Kris).

Commenting on his attack on Warbo Tanner said: “By the way, I meant no offence to anyone in a recent post about the new manager of Rangers, Pedro Caixinha. Apologies to Mark Warburton or anyone who took offence, that certainly wasn’t my intention. Best of luck to him and big Davie Weir at Forest. Next up for us is Ross County v the Champions – see you on Easter Sunday!”
Completing an almost perfect Sunday Tanner was joined on a train by Willie Johnstone who was sent home from the 1978 World Cup Finals in Argentina for failing a drugs test.
This Sunday Tanner will be heading north again to cover the Ross County v Celtic match ahead of a double bill of Glasgow derbies in the Scottish Cup and SPFL.
