The final plans are being laid for the most spectacular tifo display in the history of Scottish football.

In 2012 the Green Brigade produced a spectacular display celebrating Celtic’s 125th anniversary for the Champions League tie with Barcelona that received worldwide attention as the hoops scored an incredible 2-1 win.

That scoreline has been famous throughout Celtic’s unbroken 130 year history with the club’s greatest 90 minutes being commemorated before Sunday’s match with Hearts.

A full stadium display will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions with images certain to flood social media on Sunday afternoon.

While not quite as noteworthy Brendan Rodgers squad of 2017 will be looking to complete their own piece of history by going through the SPFL campaign unbeaten.

With Partick Thistle and Hearts to be overcome the hoops of 2017 look like heading to Hampden on May 27 for the Scottish Cup final with Aberdeen on the brink of their own history.
