He spent two months in with them earlier in the season and knows better than anyone what it’s like to be a fan.
On Friday night after the 3-1 win over Aberdeen Kieran Tierney was happy to send someone down the road with a special memento from the match- a TIERNEY 63 shirt.
That win takes Celtic to within 180 minutes of completing the SPFL campaign unbeaten with Tierney knowing that those sort of records don’t happen by accident.
Speaking to BT Sport Brendan Rodgers highlighted the power of the Celtic Trinity as the management bonds together with the fans and players.
Tierney has a foot in two of those camps and likes nothing more than sending the Celtic support home with a smile even if he can’t personally hand over a shirt to everyone backing the team.
???? KT: “It was a nice touch for everyone to give them their jerseys the other night to pay them back for travelling all those hours.”

???? KT: “The fans are great home and away, and they sang non-stop the other night and they are the 12th man for us.”

On Thursday night at Firhill Tierney may be given a night off to revert back to fan status as Rodgers rotates his squad a little to keep everyone fresh for the Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen on May 27.
