Derek McInnes has delivered a devastating attack on Pedro Caixinha- and his predecessor Mark Warburton.
Yesterday the fifth best coach in Qatar decided to deliver an Aberdeen themed lecture explaining how the Dons were coming to the end of a cycle as the second best team in Scotland.
For added insult Brother Pedro spoke warmly about his admiration of Ryan Jack who is out of contract in the summer.
McInnes has forgotten more than Caixinha has learned about expectations around Ibrox and wasn’t shy as he responded to the disrespectful comments from the one time Panathinaikos assistant.

“His job as Rangers manager is to finish above Celtic and he should be more concerned about that challenge,” the Aberdeen boss told STV. “For us any team that finishes above Rangers in the league, with the budget they have, is doing their work well.
“They should probably be embarrassed that they’ve not finished second and I think any Premiership manager, with the budget he has, would finish second in the league.
“He likes to do a lot of talking. I think the Rangers fans over the last few years have been used to owners, managers, players saying what they want to hear but the reality is his job as Rangers manager is to finish above Celtic.
“If he thinks he’s doing well by finishing above Aberdeen and the rest then he’ll soon find out that’s not enough.”
Despite the euphoria of winning at Partick Thistle last week Aberdeen’s win over Hearts later in the day guaranteed Aberdeen second spot in the SPFL table with three matches left to play.
While Caixinha has benefited by inheriting a club that overspent on players by £15m over the last two seasons McInnes has had to buy and sell on a budget that ensures that they are compliant with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulations.
