Aberdeen fans can buy a Scottish Cup Final ticket by buying a Season Ticket for NEXT season.

‘Fans’ who haven’t been to a game this season can snap up a cup final ticket by buying next season’s Season Ticket by Tuesday.

News that Celtic have been given 700 less tickets than the Dons has been greeted with dismay and anger from hoops supporters.

Close to 50,000 Celtic season ticket holders are chasing around 20,000- at Pittodrie current season ticket holders can purchase two tickets for the cup final with fans thinking of buying a season ticket for next season incentivised by being able to buy a ticket for the May 27 showdown.

The cheapest adult season ticket is £330.

According to the Aberdeen website: “Season ticket holders for season 2016/17 or 2017/18 & non-season ticket holders with 60+ Loyalty points at 2 tickets per account.

“New 2017/18 ST buys (not renewals) only qualify for Cup Final tickets when an Adult season ticket is part of transaction.”
