It took 11 months to get there and is captured in seven minutes on YouTube- Celtic’s treble.

After a week indulging in the timeless memories created by the Lisbon Lions it was time for the class of 2017 to write their own names into the history of the greatest club that ever kicked a ball.

The first half was a nervy affair, Craig Gordon launched more long balls in 45 minutes than he normally deals with in a month, Dedryck Boyata had more possession than any other Celtic player.

Within two minutes of Jonny Hayes opening the scoring Stuart Armstrong had equalised but the game was in the balance.

As the second half developed Celtic came closer and closer, Scott Sinclair missed a couple of chances, Leigh Griffiths snatched at a few and Patrick Roberts hit the woodwork.

With the clock ticking down and extra time looming Tom Rogic killed the match off with a brilliantly timed run and well executed finish to win the Scottish Cup, clinch the treble and seal the class of 2017 as Celtic’s Invincibles.
