Tom Rogic is determined to make up for lost time over the final weeks of the season.
The midfielder looks a likely starter tonight at Aberdeen as he attempts to play his way into Brendan Rodgers Scottish Cup Final side while maintaining Celtic’s unbeaten record.
Rogic missed out on more than three months action after being injured in mid-December but looked close to his best last week as Celtic hammered St Johnstone 4-1.
The 2014/15 season was a write off for the midfielder due to injury but with four matches remaining the young Australian has his glass half full again.
“It’s not nice and you go through a difficult spell, but these things happen and there’s not much you can do,” Rogic reflected in The Sun about the early months of the year.
“You just work hard to be part of it all again and there’s a lot to look forward to. I don’t dwell on the past because there’s a lot to look forward to.
“I still look at it as a very successful season for me. I was going great and then came a bad tackle and the season changes but it’s good to be back playing.
“We’ve already won a couple of trophies and what is coming up in the next few weeks is huge.”
Brendan Rodgers faces some big decisions in midfield for his cup final side with all of his players looking like being in contention.
Rogic or Stuart Armstrong will compete for the attacking midfield role although Armstrong could compete with Callum McGregor for a holding role alongside Scott Brown.
Scott Sinclair is assured of his place with Patrick Roberts currently edging out James Forrest for a place on the right.
