Chris Sutton has waded into the row over Sky Sports coverage of Scottish football.
Hoops fans were furious at the half-hearted coverage of Celtic’s title presentation which appeared as a third rate warm up to the ‘excitement’ of nothing to play for in the Premier League.
The destination of the title was settled when Chelsea won at West Brom with the three relegation places finalised last weekend when Hull City joined Middlesbrough and Sunderland taking the drop.

Popular Celtic website Celts Are Here articulated those feelings into an article titled ‘Sky Sports Contempt for Scottish football’ which was liked by Sutton for his twitter account which has close to 80,000 followers.
BT Sport have inherited the Scottish football coverage that ESPN won in the last contract negotiations which sees Sky Sports get first pick of the most popular fixtures.
No new contract is due until 2020 but it’s believed that BT Sport are preparing an offer for exclusive coverage with the Scottish TV deal one of the poorest in Europe.
