Aberdeen fans have reacted in horror at the release of their new light blue away kit.
Since the pain of Tom Rogic’s last minute goal in the final of the Scottish Cup there’s been little for the Dons fans to smile about other than Derek McInnes’ decision to reject the chance to manage Sunderland.
Ryan Jack has moved to Sevco, Jonny Hayes joined Celtic while the Europa League draw through up two tongue twister teams from the sort of places that Kate Adie would shy away from visiting.
This morning Sevco’s interest in Kenny McLean was made public through the Daily Record but just as they thought that they could suffer no more out came the new kit and although it is from adidas the colour could hardly be more wrong.

Blue for an Aberdeen away kit is what you might describe as a ‘brave’ decision. https://t.co/EOQf98ZOdC

That new Aberdeen away kit is a slap in the face for Dons fans is it not?
Can’t see it being universally popular at Pittodrie?!— Metafizic Amorfus (@jakeybhoy58) June 24, 2017
Surely that aberdeen away kit isn’t real

Black or white has been the Dons traditional change colours in recent years but some creative mind at the club or Adidas has badly misread the mood of the support with the 2017/18 kit, the only thing missing appears to be three extra stars.
