Nir Bitton just can’t get away from the catchphrase created by Kieran Tierney.
On the first day of pre-season training at Lennoxtown the Israeli internationalist was greeted with the welcome of ‘Sappinin Bitton’ and has barely been able to shrug it off.
T-shirt’s and mugs have appeared online with the phrase with one delivery driver picking up the spirit of the message when he found Bitton not at home.

The Celtic fan wasn’t too upset at having to make a return journey and offered the born-again defender his good wishes for his performance against Astana.
A few concerns had been voiced after Bitton’s performance against Partick Thistle on Friday night but against the Kazak champions he barely put a foot wrong.
In three appearances alongside Jozo Simunovic the midfielder has quickly developed a partnership that could well continue into the group matches in the Champions League despite Dedryck Boyata and Erik Sviatchenko returning to fitness next month.
