Commons reverted to Celtic fan when his contract expired at the end of June and was overjoyed by the goal that took his old club into the play-off phase of the Champions League qualifiers.

It was tight and tense against Rosenborg with the stakes high for both sides.
One slip could have resulted in the hoops falling into the Europa League play-offs but Forrest’s 68th minute goal ensured that Celtic stay on course for the group phase.
The Karagandy match was a play-off tie in 2013 after Celtic had lost 2-0 in the away leg.
Commons scored just before half-time to open the door with a last gasp goal from Forrest adding to a strike from Georgios Samaras to put Celtic through to the annual fixtures with Barcelona.
The draw for the play-off round will be on Friday at 11am.
