Manchester City have wished Patrick Roberts good luck after moving to Celtic.
A week after Peter Lawwell was spotted at the Etihad Stadium watching City playing against Everton the loan deal has been announced.
Good luck to @patrick7roberts, who’s heading back to Glasgow for a season-long loan spell. ???? #ManCity https://t.co/c1cqckO0A0

Over the last couple of weeks there has been a number of false alarms but by mid afternoon Roberts had been pictured going into Celtic Park with the official announcement coming just after 6pm.
With the transfer window closing on Thursday night the deal has been completed with a little time to spare as Brendan Rodgers had wished for.
Roberts will join up with Olivier Ntcham who also joined from Manchester City with the midfielder completing a £4m move in July.
With Nadir Ciftci out of the picture Roberts has been handed the number seven shirt and is expected to make his second ‘debut’ away to Hamilton Accies on September 9- ahead of the Champions League clash with PSG four days later.
