Twelve months ago today, as they prepared for the opening Premiership fixture away to Hearts Celtic completed the signing of Scott Sinclair.
For £3.5m few could have predicted the impact that he would have on his new club.
Travelling up from the Midlands he met his new team mates for a pre-match meal then took his place on the bench.
On the hour mark Sinclair replaced Stuart Armstrong with the scores level at 1-1 following a ridiculous penalty awarded to Hearts for a Jamie Walker dive.

Nine minutes from the final whistle Sinclair raced the length of the park to meet a Leigh Griffiths cross, strike the ball into the net and pick up the obligatory Celtic booking for not being able to halt his run with the fans three yards behind the touchline at Tynecastle.
365 days and 28 goals later Sinclair is an absolutely essential element of Brendan Rodgers side as the hoops look towards another Champions League group phase.
If the next 12 months are as eventful as the last year there will be plenty for the Celtic support to sing about.
