Chris Sutton believes that Leigh Griffiths would stroll it in the English Premier League.
At the end of last season the striker left Joe Hart badly exposed with two goals against England in a World Cup qualifier and was back on song last night.
Despite having his preparations hampered by calf and muscle strains Griffiths led the line brilliantly against Astana as Celtic virtually booked their place in the group phase of the Champions League.
.@btsportfootball Bitton superb!! Ntcham really mature???? Griffiths would stroll the English Premier but keep it quiet….????Outstanding ??

The Astana defence weren’t given a moments rest with Griffiths opening the door for team-mates Tom Rogic, Scott Sinclair and James Forrest to punish the Kazaks.
A year ago Griffiths scored twice in the 5-2 win over Hapoel Beer Sheva but missed out on the group matches as Moussa Dembele emerged to take his place.
Despite being rated by every major club in Europe and being valued at £30m Dembele will have a job on his hands ousting Griffiths from the Celtic team in his current form.
