Ryan Christie continues to have a major influence on Aberdeen, yesterday he opened the scoring in the fifth minute as Derek McInnes’ side went on to record a 4-3 win.

Earlier today Scott Allan was happy to help Dundee to their first point of the season as they held Hibs to a 1-1 draw at Dens Park where Anthony Stokes had a big say in the Hibs equaliser with a close range shot deflected past Scott Bain.

Jamie Lindsay suffered the embarrassment of being a tactical substitute in the 37th minute as Ross County crashed to a 3-1 defeat at home to Sevco.

Down a division Joe Thomson came off the bench for the final 13 minutes as Livingston won 1-0 away to Morton who had Ross Doohan on the bench.

Dumbarton’s decent start to the season came to a spectacular halt at home to leaders Dunfermline with Sam Warburton substituted in the 74th minute of a 4-0 home defeat.

In League One PJ Crossan made his debut for Alloa as a substitute in their 2-0 defeat at Airdrie who had former Celt Ryan Conroy on the scoresheet.

Down south Nadir Ciftci seemed to have made a decent impression on his Plymouth debut despite Derek Adams’ side going down to a 4-0 home defeat from Scunthorpe.
