Nadir Ciftci is on his way to Plymouth on a season long loan.
The former Dundee United is in the third year of his four season Celtic contract and has been informed that he doesn’t feature in Brendan Rodgers’ future plans.
Ciftci spend a short time on loan at Polish side Pogon Szczecin but failed to score a goal and returned early due to injury.
Former Ross County boss Derek Adams is in charge of Plymouth and as brought a number of players from the SPFL including former Celt Graham Carey.
Last season Plymouth won promotion to League One and have picked up three points from their first two matches.
Ronny Deila agreed a £1.5m fee with Dundee United for Ciftci two years ago but after arriving with a six match domestic suspension he failed to make any real impression scoring just four SPFL goals.
Youth team players Ross Doohan (Morton) and Kieran Campbell (East Kilbride) have made loan moves earlier this week.
