The lucky 1,200 fans inside the ground made sure that they enjoyed the moment as Celtic trashed Anderlecht in the Brussels capital.

It’s been a long and painful journey since the last Champions League away win- including three trips to the Nou Camp- but as the goals flew in the pain, expense and Ryan Air Miles were all justified as Europe took a fresh look at Celtic.

After trips to Linfield, Rosenborg and Astana it was the real deal last night with Brendan Rodgers’ side building on the promise hinted at against Monchengladbach and Manchester City.
