Gary Lineker and Steven Gerrard were delighted to see Celtic hammer Anderlecht 3-0 in Brussels.
The former England stars were on BT Sport duty as Brendan Rodgers’ side recorded a memorable away win in the Champions League.
After a difficult start, caused by their own shortcomings rather than anything that the Belgians produced, Celtic clicked into gear late in the first half and took the lead thanks to Leigh Griffiths.
“It was a wonderful team goal, I know Brendan will have worked on that in training,” Gerrard stated.
Kieran Tierney caught the eye of Steven Gerrard and Gary Lineker vs Anderlecht.

After that goal Celtic looked more like themselves as they retained possession, found their man with passes and threatened the Anderlecht goal.
There was a little good fortune about Patrick Roberts’ second goal but Scott Sinclair’s third goal was top drawer.
Next up for the hoops is Bayern Munich with that match sure to get plenty of attention from BT Sport despite being scheduled alongside games involving Manchester United and Chelsea.
