Chris Sutton has refused to back down from his ‘best squad in Scotland’ argument with Pedro Caixinha.
Following Sevco’s 3-1 win away to Ross County the fifth best coach in Qatar joined in the post match analysis in the BT Sport studio.
While the other panel members looked at their shoes Sutton pushed Caixinha to explain how his squad was the best in the county.
Caixinha refused to name the Celtic players that wouldn’t get into his squad and sent his stock soaring among the Ibrox fans who see Sutton as Public Enemy Number One in the media.
With the international break over and done with the focus switches back to domestic matters with Sevco playing catch up in the SPFL.
In their first four matches Sevco have avoided playing any of last season’s top clubs with that trend continuing on Saturday when Dundee, with one point from four matches, visiting Ibrox.
