Chris Sutton was delighted to see his fears disproved as Celtic hammered Anderlecht 3-0 in Brussels.
The result puts the hoops in the driving seat for a Europa League place and in with a fighting chance of second place with two matches coming up against Bayern Munich.
Sutton has been critical of Celtic’s central defence and lack of options in that area of the park but was quick to salute Jozo Simunovic and Dedryck Boyata.

After the match Sutton stodd discussing the victory with former team-mates Johan Mjallby and John Hartson in front of the delighted Celtic support.
During the first half there was plenty to concern the visiting support with Olivier Ntcham looking well off the pace.
After the match Sutton recognised how the French u-21 internationalist had improved during the match playing a part in the first and third goals.
Next up for Celtic is Bayern Munich with the hoops travelling to Germany full of confidence.
