Leigh Griffiths has hit back at his twitter critics after Celtic’s 4-2 win over Hibs.
It was the first time since joining Celtic three years ago that the striker had started against his boyhood favourites with Griffiths not at his sharpest.
Moussa Dembele scored twice after replacing the Scotland striker on the hour mark and could now be in from the start against Aberdeen on Wednesday.
Griffiths is never shy on social media but seemed taken aback by the criticism that his Hampden performance attracted although plenty of fans also jumped to his defence.
Another game at Hampden, another win. ????????????

Fans are a bit over the top at times, people are allowed an off game from time to time ????????

Brendan Rodgers now has an alternative source of goals for his side with Dembele notching his first goals of the season.
The Frenchman suffered from hamstring injuries in pre-season but a month after his first top team start he now looks like picking up on last season’s form.
With a packed schedule through until the end of the year having two strikers available will be a big boost to Celtic’s hopes domestically and in Europe.
