Chris Sutton doesn’t hold back when it comes to criticising fellow broadcasters.

Steven Craigan usually bears the brunt of his colleagues aggression but with Neil McCann whining about a penalty yesterday Sutton decided to wind the clock back to March this year.

Sitting in his Sky Sports seat McCann was adamant that Celtic shouldn’t have got a penalty when Clint Hill went crunching through Leigh Griffiths.

As the Celtic striker prepared to shoot the veteran defender cleaned him out to deny Griffiths a shot at goal.

Instantly McCann launched a defence of Bobby Madden with the excuses ranging from he couldn’t see the challenge clearly to a bizarre claim that he played the ball.

Yesterday McCann was looking for a pemalty when Cristian Gamboa and Jack Hendry collided, on twitter Sutton decided to remind McCann of his views seven months earlier.

Sutton will be in Munich this week to cover Celtic’s Champions League clash with Bayern.
