Celtic are on course to make it into the Europa League. Currently third in their Champions League group and barring any mishaps they will secure their place.

Brendan Rodgers has done fantastically well since taking over at Celtic but one thing still eluding the Scottish giants is success in European football. In the Champions League this year Celtic have showed glimmers of real quality against Europe’s elite. And whilst the results have ultimately gone against them, there are many who see them as a dark horse going into the Europa League, with Arjen Robben suggesting they could be finalists in the making.

Although the Europa League is the smaller of footballs European trophies, some big teams find themselves fighting in it this season. The likes of Arsenal, Lyon and AC Milan will provide stiff competition for the Hoops but Celtic look set to stand against them and have the quality to have real success if they play their cards right. Scott Sinclair could be Brendan Rodgers’ key man, the forward has produced some great performances this year bagging 10 goals so far. Fans are believing in this squad and it seems others are taking them more seriously as well.

It is time to roll the dice (http://www.sveafreespins.se/) if Celtic wants to show the world what they are capable of. A regular staple in European football, now is the time to thrive and produce success. Can Celtic beat the odds and go all the way?

A spot in the quarter-finals or semi-finals realistically would be considered a tremendous success, both financially and in terms of reputation. One thing is clear, the club are building and have their cards set on challenging in Europe over the coming seasons. The Hoops have some of the most passionate fans in the world, making Celtic Park a difficult place to play, they will need all the support their fans can muster and a bit of luck too! It must be said that they are creeping up the deck and aren’t to be taken lightly! It will be a long hard season of travelling and awkward fixtures, but it looks as though the Europa League is worth the gamble.

Ex payer Chris Sutton cannot see the Hoops winning the competition this year but likes the direction the club is going, identifying their defence as the problem. Clearly, they won’t be the favourites any time soon, but they aren’t outsiders anymore. The club has managed to find a place among Europe’s to teams and looks set on staying. Success will attract big players and that will be the key to continued progression for Brendan Rodgers. The influence of Scott Sinclair this year is clear to see, he comes with an intent and ambition that will infect those around him.

Given how they performed against Bayern Munich betting against them may not be wise. It feels like Scotland have arrived in Europe, finally. Now let’s see what they can do.
