“What’s the point of Brendan Rodgers beating Hamilton every other week, of beating Ross County every other week,” he pleaded on the Breakfast Show with Alan Brazil.
“What’s the point of Brendan Rodgers winning three more titles. What Brendan should be thinking now, is and I will tell you now Brendan what you should be thinking, ‘Come down to London, sort out West Ham, make them a good club, a successful club then he can get a top six club in the Premier League.
“By beating Hamilton Academical and Ross County every other week you’re not going to get a top six job in England.”
Unknown to the Moose and others in the EPL there is much more to footballing life than the bubble of the so-called greatest league in the world.

While those bosses sweat it out Rodgers can lay down more long term plans with greater control over Celtic’s direction than any manager in the EPL enjoys at their club.
