John Hartson has been in contact with Liam Miller.
The former Celtic midfielder recently returned to Ireland for cancer treatment after winding down his career in the United States.
Just off the phone to Liam Miller.. he has a big fight on his hands, and is feeling determined and battling hard through this horrible period of his life. We send him our prayers and strength, and hope that Liam can get back to a normal way of life.

Hartson was in the Celtic side that Miller broke into post-Seville and survived his own high profile battle with cancer in 2009.
Since then the Welshman has set up his own Foundation and is a tireless supporter of a number of cancer charities.
After breaking into the Celtic side in the first half of the 2003/04 season Miller signed a pre-contract agreement to move to Manchester United.
Although it never quite worked out for him at Old Trafford he enjoyed successful spells with Leeds and Sunderland as well as winning 21 caps for Ireland between 2004 and 2009.
After spending two seasons playing for Hibs Miller went on to play for three clubs in Australia before heading to the States where he played for Wilmington Hammerheads.
