Celtic have been drawn at home to St Johnstone or Sevco in the fifth round draw of the SFA Youth Cup.

Tommy McIntyre’s side are the holders of the trophy after outclassing the Murray Park starlets 3-0 in last season’s Hampden final.

With Graeme Murty’s side opting out of the Development League to play friendlies against European aces such as AZ Alkmaar and Mechelen the match, scheduled for Sunday January 28 will be the only opportunity for the two city clubs to face each other this term if they get past St Johnstone.

To reach the fifth round Celtic have beaten Alloa 8-0 and Raith Rovers 5-0 and also have a 100% record from five matches in the Development League.

Later today Celtic will take on Dundee at Links Park as they start to clear the backlog created by competing in the UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup.

Three weeks ago Celtic beat St Johnstone 3-1 in the Development League with the Perth side taking 14 points from 14 matches in that division.
