BBC Scotland and their McInnes agenda

BBC Scotland just can’t change the script.

Whether it’s online, radio or television they just can’t countenance anything other than their McInnes for Ibrox script.

With a range of panellists and pundits that reads like the ABC of EBT beneficiaries, with the notable exception of Michael Stewart, it seems that the state broadcaster is unable to question the views that they have been spewing out for over a month.

In what parallel universe are the views of Kris Boyd taken seriously?

The Kilmarnock striker listens to the voices around him and forms an opinion based on their consensus.

Sportsound host Kenny MacIntyre claimed that four sources, none of them from Level 5 had assured him that McInnes was bound for Ibrox.

Surely at some stage Kenny has to start questioning these sources and wonder of he is being used by vested interests.

Leaked news that Aberdeen will ask for an £800,000 bond to allow Sevco to speak to their manager shows that the Dons can play at games as well.

Will Radio Scotland report this development or will they prefer to listen to their own sources?

If McInnes doesn’t become the new manager of Sevco the state broadcaster will have been exposed as having all the credibility of a desperate tabloid- exactly the opposite of it’s charter agreement.
