Celtic have been linked with a move for Jack Hendry.
According to a report in The Sun the Dundee defender is expected to be a January target for Brendan Rodgers.
Hendry has been an impressive figure in the Dundee defence this season but it’s quite a jump to move from Dens Park to Celtic after just 15 SPFL starts.
The 22-year-old joined Dundee in the summer from Wigan and had loan spells with Shrewsbury and MK Dons.
Brendan Rodgers has gone public about his concerns about his central defence and is expected to bring in at least one new defender in January.
Kristoffer Ajer has been given a handful of appearances this season but it’s likely that Rodgers’ priority will be to bring in an experienced player ready to go straight into the team rather than a longer term project.
Hendry was believed to be at Celtic Park for last night’s Champions League tie against Anderlecht.
