The mangled management structure at Ibrox is no shock to Chris Sutton.
As Sevco struggle from embarrassment to fiasco the BT Sport pundit hasn’t been afraid to call out the faceless men behind the scenes that hide behind statements.
Until Friday Mark Allen was one of those men but as Graeme Murty was unveiled as the ‘new’ manager the Welshman was put in the spotlight for the first time.
.@btsportfootball Mark Allen had a list of managerial candidates within 2 days of Pedro sacking he says! So the Rangers board didn’t trust him or weren’t decisive enough?? Allen has piled the pressure on the board… I did my job… you didn’t do yours… Your thoughts??

As Director of Football the former Manchester City scout has kept a very low profile telling the club media outlets about his grand development plans with no substance to back them up.
After presenting Murty to the media Allen was then questioned by the Sunday papers about his job and claimed that he had presented the Sevco board with a list of potential managers two days after Pedro Caixinha was sacked.
After distancing himself from the long delay in getting a manager it seems only a matter of time before Allen follows Mark Warburton and Caixinha out the door.
