With Scott Bain and Jack Hendry expected to complete their moves from Dundee, Brendan Rodgers will be spared any late transfer window drama.

The signing of Charly Musonda has clearly been the headline grabbing act with the young Belgian bringing in the quality that the Celtic boss had held out for.

Complicating this month’s activities has been an ever growing injury list with Craig Gordon, Leigh Griffiths, Stuart Armstrong and Mikel Lustig all suffering knocks this month. New signing Marvin Compper managed to get injured before he had even kicked a ball.

As he leaves behind his fourth transfer window since arriving at Celtic the team has much more of a Rodgers stamp on it.

Olivier Ntcham has played his way into the starting XI with the young French midfielder accelerating his development over the last two months.

While the Europa League will be a priority Rodgers clearly has one eye on the summer when the hoops will face four qualifying rounds assuming that they win the title for a seventh successive season.

The summer transfer window won’t require major changes with Celtic evolving towards the side that their manager had in mind, renewing the deals of some of the current squad will be a priority over the coming months.
