Chelsea fans see the loan deal that sends Charly Musonda to Celtic as another symptom of a club losing their way.
Almost as soon as they won the EPL last season there was speculation over the future of Antonio Conte with that feeling lingering through the current season.
Managers at Stamford Bridge tend to last two seasons at most with no one backing the former Juventus boss to be in place at the start of next season never mind when Musonda returns.

Can’t ever remember a Chelsea player going directly to Celtic – even on a loan deal. Is this a first?
Hope it works out for him.— William McGowan (@WilliamMcGowa15) January 29, 2018

The departure of Diego Costa after a long running battle with Conte gave an indication of the way things were shaping up with last week’s EFL Cup defeat to Arsenal leaving the club with just the FA Cup to play for domestically with little hope of getting past Barcelona in the Champions League.
Musonda hasn’t started a match in the EPL but with the title out of reach plenty of fans would have preferred to watch the young Belgian develop rather than look out for snippets from Celtic.
