Celtic fans are back in love with Moussa Dembele.
A month of speculation and mixed messages ended at lunchtime today when Brendan Rodgers confirmed emphatically that the striker would be staying at Celtic.
Since scoring a dramatic penalty against Astana in a Champions League qualifier Dembele has been a favourite of the Celtic support.

Scoring twice against Manchester City in a 3-3 thriller sealed that place as did a run of scoring in three consecutive games against the tribute act.
Celtic’s system of only playing one striker has sometimes pitted Dembele against Leigh Griffiths for the affection of the support but a proven striker that is in the thoughts of Real Madrid was something to savour for hoops supporters.
Since Christmas Day the relationship was under threat as there appeared to be credibility to interest from Brighton.
The last week has involved a frenzy of speculation but after today’s announcement it seems that Dembele is committed to the hoops, at least until the summer transfer window opens.
