King’s strangelhold

Sevco fans were laughing again yesterday as the day ended with Jason Cummings signing rather than the rumoured administration.

Anyone putting a date on administration is howling at the moon but the countdown is certainly well underway unless Dave King changes the business practices that have served him so well throughout his career in South Africa.

As long as King retains his position of power the club at Ibrox are completely hamstrung- no amount of loan signings will alter that despite the gullibility of the fans that fund the tribute act.

Any sensible businessman would realise that they can kick the can as far and as often as they like with the Takeover Appeal Board ruling but there is only going to be one winner.

After being given a two day appeal on February 28 and March 1 King has another appeal source to the Supreme Court. As John James put it King would appeal the toss of a coin if allowed.

What the Takeover Appeal Board are dealing with is someone with no respect for any regulations, in this case Sevco shareholders with meaningless certificates that they should be entitled to 20p for like the companies that bailed out when they sold to King.

The 27p price often quoted is engineered entirely by King’s poodle James Blair.

Overlooked in the 2017 accounts was the ending of soft loans from the three bears. Park, Taylor and Letham have put in enough and can’t be associated with King.

Getting the South African based criminal to miss out on his four times a year fawning media coverage is no easy task, especially as he plays games with OPM (other people’s money).

While King feeds in the minimal sums needed to keep the club afloat the three bears aren’t oust their chairman.

Towards the end of the month everything will be done to shift any player from the wage bill with the move presented as the greedy player angling for a move.

James Tavernier and Josh Windass have been dropped from the media rota.

With HMRC watching every move new tax scams aren’t available to Sevco. In it’s place King has turned to loan signings and using next season’s season ticket money to pay this season’s bills.

A draw with Celtic, a near miss at the Florida Cup and bringing in a few blue noses is enough to convince the gullible that the internet bampots are off target with their administration predictions.

Once King runs out of escape cards everything falls apart. The three bears won’t come to his rescue, administration will be their opportunity but after three years having their pockets picked it’s doubtful that they’ll have the stomach or finances for another attempt to halt ra Selik.
