It didn’t take long for twitter to pick up on the ‘rags to riches’ story of Lewis Morgan.
Nine years ago he was a mascot for Rangers (IL) in the League Cup Final against Celtic as he progressed through the Murray Park conveyor belt of talent before being thrown out at the age of 16.
Star spotter Jimmy Sinclair was responsible for that decision with the teenager taking his boots along to Saint Mirren where they have cultivated talent like John McGinn in recent seasons.

With an emphasis on development Morgan’s game has progressed taking him into the Scotland u-21 set up while making more than 100 appearances for the Buddies.
Those appearances will continue with his £300,000 move involving his return to the Paisley side for the remainder of the season as they chase promotion to the top flight.
The Celtic new bhoy has certainly contributed to that including Saints last three goals in the televised matches against Dundee United and Morton.
