The trip to Florida will be the first indication of the transfer war-chest promised by Dave King following the club AGM.
With Derek McInnes turning down the chance to take over from Pedro Caixinha there has been a lot of speculation about how stretched the company is for cash.
Graeme Murty has drawn up a list of transfer targets but based on the club accounts it’s unlikely that there will be money spent during January.
Trimming the wage bill will be the priority while the end of the month is likely to see a flurry of transfer activity with players moving out.
