Brendan Rodgers is hoping to bring in TWO new players before the transfer window closes at midnight on Wednesday.

Marvin Compper, Lewis Morgan and Charly Musonda have signed up already with more additions expected.

Offers have apparently been made for Jack Hendry of Dundee and Motherwell keeper Trevor Carson with Wednesday likely to be a busy day once tonight’s clash with Hearts is over.

Speaking to The Scotsman Rodgers said: “There’s nothing else other than Charly, a goalkeeper, and maybe one other. I don’t anticipate anyone else going out at this point.”

Dorus de Vries will be in goals against Hearts as Celtic look to bring in another keeper.

It looks likely that a short term back-up keeper will be brought in to compete with de Vries with Gordon due back from injury before the season is completed.

That will give Celtic time to look for a new first choice keeper in the summer with de Vries and Gordon both over 35 years of age.

Despite reports of interest in Cristian Gamboa and Jozo Simunovic it appears that both defenders will be staying with Celtic.
