Sevco are planning a clear out of their Latin contingent.

Graeme Murty has already talked up the prospect of getting rid of Carlos Pena with the club desperate to slash their wage bill by ditching all of Pedro Caixinha’s summer signings.

SunSport can now reveal Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Eduardo Herrera and Dalcio are set to follow Pena out the door.

Herrera, Pena and Alves are each believed to be picking up close to £30,000 per week with the Mexican duo under contract until 2020.

Undoing Caixinha’s summer spending spree will keep Director of Football Mark Allen fully occupied with the former Manchester City supremo dealing with senior players and contracts for the first time in his career.

Slashing costs is a priority at Ibrox with the summer imports making no impact on the Europa League with the Premiership a lost cause with Celtic 11 points clear.

At the time it was claimed that Pena and Herrera had cost the club £5m in transfer fees, by highlighting their availability at this stage of the transfer window Sevco are likely to be left with only loan offers to deal with towards the end of the transfer window.
