Steven McLean showed his colleague John Beaton how to deal with the overly physical challenges of the St Johnstone team.
Last night Tommy Wright’s men were rightly punished for some heavy fouls with McLean producing three first half yellow cards for the home side.
After being given licence by Beaton to do as they pleased ten days earlier against Celtic it was a shock to the system of the home players with Sevco taking full advantage to score three times.
St Johnstone have committed 5 fouls in the first 45 minutes tonight and have been shown 3 yellow cards.
Against Celtic, they got 1 yellow for their first 19 fouls, and committed 24 overall.
On track for 10 fouls tonight.

With late challenges reigning in at Celtic Park Brendan Rodgers’ side couldn’t get into their stride although Beaton did belatedly start to issue cards.
Dick Foster was booked just before half time, Murray Davidson in the 75th minute with two more players cautioned in stoppage time.
Had Beaton issued yellow cards as quickly as McLean the game with Celtic could have ended very differently.
Beaton will be back at Celtic Park on Saturday for the Scottish Cup tie with Morton.
