Moussa Dembele’s impact at Celtic has been celebrated in song by a French rap duo.
The song was recorded last May but only seems to have been discovered over the weekend- a little like the striker’s scoring form.
M2K’Mc and Virgil (not van Dijk) are behind the tribute to the striker who scored 32 times in his first season in Scottish football.
After a quiet time in the first half of the season Dembele has scored three times in his last two appearances as Celtic step up their treble bid.
Dembele’s scoring run ended at last season’s Scottish Cup semi-final win over Sevco when he suffered a hamstring injury.
That didn’t deter M2K’Mc and Virgil who put together the following words:
From the Premier League to the Champions League, goalkeepers know me well
Top corner! If I reach for the moon no one can stop me
I traumatise like Ronaldo
My time has come, my time has come
I’ve come a long way
Physical, not typical
I shoot at the crowd
When people didn’t believe in me, that’s when I was strongest
The whole of Europe goes crazy for me, I make them jealous
Dembele oh, Dembele ah. Put the ball there, Dem-na Dem-na
