They might have stopped him from tying a scarf to the goal posts at Ibrox but no one could prevent Leigh Griffiths from flying the flag as Celtic won 3-2 against Sevco.
The injured striker scored in both of Celtic’s most recent wins at Ibrox but has been out of action for six weeks after injuring a calf in a win over Hibs.
Sitting in the front row of the back stand Griffiths had a birds eye view of the drama as Celtic fought back from twice being behind before claiming victory with ten men.

The after match celebrations at Ibrox have become legendary with the injured striker as keen as anyone in the Broomloan Road stand to join in.
Handed an Irish tri-colour he waved it enthusiastically to the delight of his fellow supporters.
Predictably the angry people are angry, very angry at the incident. Whether they like it or not Griffiths was flying the flag of a fellow member of the European Union.
Their anger exposes them, would they have been as upset if Mikael Lustig had waved a Swedish flag or Marvin Compper a German flag?
It’s an argument that they can’t articulate.
