Steven McLean will referee Celtic’s Premiership clash with Ross County on Saturday.
The full time SFA official is best remembered for failing to award Celtic a penalty and send off Josh Meekings in the 2015 Scottish Cup semi-final between Celtic and Inverness Caley Thistle.
Saturday will be McLean’s third Celtic home match of 2018 having previously taken charge of the Scottish Cup ties against Brechin City and Partick Thistle.
McLean has had a difficult season highlighted by his display in the Betfred Cup semi-final between Motherwell and Sevco which resulted in a retrospective suspension for Bruno Alves.
Celtic return to action with a 10 point lead over Sevco at the top of the Premiership with just three matches to go before the end of season split.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will be back in action on April 4 at home to Dundee with Alan Muir, who was the official behind the goal in the semi-final against Caley Thistle.
