With the Beast from the East bringing Scotland to a virtual halt the weekend Scottish Cup ties are in doubt.
Pitches shouldn’t be too much of a problem but the areas surrounding the stadiums could be a cause for concern.
With that in mind Celtic began a cleaning up process today in a bid to get the area fit for Saturday’s match at home to Morton.
Sky Sports will cover that match and set a camera crew along to see how the clear up was progressing to capture what appears to be a very professional effort to clear the decks.
Meanwhile over at Ibrox, where Sevco host Falkirk on Sunday things are a little more laid back.
It appears that the Ibrox staff are waiting for a thaw ahead of the match with no sign of a brush and shovel never mind anything more suited to shifting snow.
The Glasgow area is currently on an amber alert but that is expected to be downgraded to yellow at some stage on Friday although the extreme weather is likely to continue through the weekend.
