Donald Park ditched his Sevco experiment as Scotland bounced back from a 3-0 defeat to Germany to beat Holland 2-0 in a European Championship tie.

Robbie Deas, Daniel Church and Stephen Welsh were drafted into the defence as Park reverted back to the mainstay of last season’s successful u-17 side.

With Ibrox star-maker Craig Mulholland in full SFA regalia looking on from the stand the pressure was on the young Celts who responded in style. The Murray Park starlets have been starved of competitive football all season.

The Dutch barely got a look in giving Scotland the platform to take the game to their opponents who went into the match on the back of a 6-1 win over Norway.

Jack Aitchison scored in the 65th and 81st minutes to give Scotland the win to keep alive their hopes of progressing to the last eight of the competition.

Scotland face Norway in the final group match on Tuesday with all four teams locked on three points from their first two matches.

Norway lost their opening match 6-1 to Holland but bounced back to record a stunning 5-2 win over Germany.

Scotland go into the final match with a goal difference of -1, Norway are on -2, Holland +3 and the Germany on zero.

SCOTLAND: McAdams (Sevco), Welsh (Celtic), Wilson (Sevco) Deas (Celtic) Church (Celtic); Ferguson (Hamilton) Watt (Wolves), Gilmour (Arsenal) Hornby (Everton) Middleton (Sevco) Aitchison (Celtic)
