Football fans have turned to social media to express their anger over the SPFL fixture farce.
Three days after the final pre-split matches were completed there has been no comment from the football authorities for matches that could be played in nine days time.
All sorts of rumours have been running about the delay with various interests involved.
Brendan Rodgers has gone public with his desire to play Sevco in the first post split fixture but with less than a fortnight to put arrangements in place that seems highly unlikely.

It’s Wednesday 11th April 2018, and the SPFL split fixtures are still not announced!!!
The 10 other clubs are being messed around, cause let’s face it – Rangers fans can’t take other team’s winning things, as us Hibs fans were reminded in May 2016.
Absolute shambles!

@spfl are an absolute disgrace, shouldn’t be taking this long for the post split fixtures, ridiculous

Morning all, Scottish football fans await the post split fixtures with increasing frustration, can we not have an efficient ruling body which plans ahead & treats the fans with a bit less contempt? Get a grip SPFL, fans have to book transport, organise & plan. pic.twitter.com/wACpBSgwcu

@spfl any chance we can get a note of the post split fixtures. Fans need to arrange travel etc it’s not like the split is a surprise so why can’t it be better organised.

The main reason for the delay seems to be sensitivities over the Celtic v Sevco match becoming a title clincher.
Ibrox fans have known since September that they wouldn’t be winning the SPFL title with the circumstances for this match much different to those involved in the so-called Shame Game of 1999.
Last season after the split Celtic players were subjected to racist abuse, Scott Brown was confronted by a fan on the pitch and missiles including a large sized battery were thrown as Celtic won 5-1. The SPFL never said a word or launched an enquiry into that match.
