The SPFL’s attempt at humour surrounding the announcement of the post split fixtures badly backfired.
Supporters of all clubs had turned to social media to express a variety of concerns as the football authorities delayed announcing fixtures that are only 10 days away.
Despite all of the fears about scheduling a Glasgow derby title clincher that prospect is very much alive with the two clubs meeting on April 29.
Should Celtic lose or draw away to Hibs on April 21 followed by Sevco beating Hearts at home the following day then the title race will still be live going into the Glasgow derby!

It’s no laughing matter. Fans with work, travel etc to sort. We’ve paid for our tickets already.

That’s not a funny self-aware tweet. It’s a feeble attempt to mask a shambles

This would be funny if it wasn’t such an embarrassment that the fixtures have yet to be announced.

After all this time all you can do is make a joke of it???? show some respect for the fans – couldn’t make this up #releasethefixtures

Attempting to treat the release of the fixtures in a similar way to the closing of the transfer deadline backfired badly.
Thousands of long distance Celtic fans have to make travel plans for two Sunday home matches with the hoops other home match given a Wednesday slot, at home to Kilmarnock.
